1885 First issue postal card sent by “British Consulate P.O.” in Bangkok to Ramsay & Co., informing the time of the Consulate overseas mail services, tied by “Krung Thep” (Bangkok), wide upper part of “ร”& short tailed “Sara U” (vowel under the second alphabet), single ring curve line CS Era.on 15/6/1885, on reverse, “Bangkok” pmk.of British Consulate P.O.on same day. At that time the British Consulate P.O. serviced the overseas mail for Siam and the Siamese P.O. in Bangkok serviced the domestic mail only. scarce. F(1)
2428 ไปรษณียบัตรรุ่นแรกในสมัย ร.5 ส่งโดยสถานกงสุลอังกฤษในกรุงเทพถึงห้างแรมเซ เพื่อแจ้งถึงเวลาเที่ยวไปรษณีย์ไปต่างประเทศ ประทับตรากรุงเทพ (แบบส่วนบนของ “ร” กว้างและสระอุหางสั้น) ในวันจันทร์ ขึ้น4ค่ำ เดือน8 จุลศักราช1247 (วันที่15/6/2428) ด้านหลังประทับตรา“Bangkok”ของไปรษณีย์สถานกงสุลอังกฤษในวันเดียวกัน ในขณะนั้นไปรษณีย์สถานกงสุลอังกฤษให้บริการรับฝากส่งจดหมายไปต่างประเทศ ส่วนไปรษณีย์ของสยามให้บริการรับฝากส่งจดหมายภายในประเทศเท่านั้น หายาก F(1)
